The most common questions people ask us before they purchase one of our barrels is with regards to quality.

One things that separates our barrels from most other sellers is our strong quality supply chain. We only source the newest and highest quality barrels from South Australian Wineries.

Does it matter how new the barrel is?

In short, yes it does!

The quicker we can start the restoration and refurbishment process on a corked barrel, the stronger and longer lasting it becomes.

Over time, the natural oak dries and the barrel can become quite unstable and loose. Our process looks to stabilise the barrel before it reaches the point of no return.

Doesn’t matter if its a 200L Whisky Barrel, 225L Barrique, 300L Hogshead or 500L Puncheon. We make sure we get the best.

Is it all about structure?

Not at all!

Getting higher quality barrels allows for a more clean cut and intricate finish on the barrels.

It is only because of the high quality nature of our barrels we can strip them right back and bring out the amazing natural grain the oak produces.

We can confidently say you won’t find a better finished barrel around!

What if I am just after a Natural State Raw Barrel?

Just as important!

If you are looking to do the restoration process yourself it is always easier and more rewarding to have the best base product available. Allows for the best finished product possible!

Even if you just want the Natural State Raw Barrel as is, these barrels will fair and last a lot longer than older barrels that have been out and about for longer.

The best thing to do is come on down to our warehouse at 1/21 Jijaws Street, Sumner 4074 and have a look for yourself.

We welcome people to come choose their own unique barrel and to truly find something they will cherish for a long time to come.
